Wow, awesome garden! If anyone wants a free guide on growing a vegetable garden check out my profile for it. Enjoy!
Awesome Garden..great Music!!!
I’ll bet that this video could be 100 times better if the maker would get rid of the music and tell us all about his or her garden.
Cool!!
Beautiful garden. Many idea.
I’m glad to see you kept your mint in a container. We sowed a few seeds and it exploded! Mint everywhere!
nice setup.
Thanks. Sure, I will post a video about our melon patch. You are correct, we havn’t try potato and corn yet. Perhaps next year. We don’t have space for grape vine in the backyard. Maybe we can use frontyard but we need to come out a good design for landcape.
We do not have this much that would need help to harvest. Sometimes we will ask friends to come and help themselves.
I use the following methods:
1. Add a water reservior at the bottom of the container. Do not drill holes at the bottom but at sides in the lower part of the pot. Raise the soil above the holes.
2. For pots with holes at the bottom, put a plastic buket or bowl at the bottom and cover the top with a piece of metal mesh.
3. Add water absorbing crystals into soil.
4. Place a water bottle with small holes at bottom.
I love your garden. Your plants are very productive!
I am glad to see that you are putting in a melon patch. Post a vid and let us see how it turns out.
Also, perhaps I wasn’t paying attention but there were three things missing from your garden.
the first two are potatoes and corn. They are both VERY easy to grow and they are big producers from my experience.
Lastly, you should look into a grape vine. I have 6 vines, 4 different varieties. I get about 20 lbs of fruit off each vine.
You have an amazing garden, I’m sure you spend a good deal of effort on this. I know, last years harvest alone almost had me asking for help. I wonder, do you have to have help harvesting your crops?
Beautiful! But how do you do to give all these plants water? I mean especially when its really hot for a long time, how do you do? And how much in time do you spend every day whith your plants?
We do the garden ourselves except for mowing the lawn. Occasionally, we hire helpers to do some labor intensive works.
did you do the work your self or do you have a hired gardener?
Wow! You have a spectacular Garden! I dreamed of having a garden filled with flowers. But i live in the tropics and i tried growing these flowery plants but instead i just wasted my money, they all died.
It was about 1000 SFT last year. We added 500 SFT more this year.
Your garden is beautiful. It shows what can be done when you have a lot of money to spend.
Nice, Its cool to see well producing garden that doesn’t take up a huge amount of land. How much land do you think you used in total for the garden?
wow you did an great job, i hope more people realize that this is the way to go cuase having an acre of grass that needs mowed every week at 3.50 a gallon a rising quickly, isnt feesable anymore,
AMAZING! you have a beautiful backyard! I am going to attempt to have a garden this year, but the more i watch this I am debating doing containers.
The land is very small, and not too great looking soil wise, but this is amazing! good for you!
Wow! This really give s me hope!!! It’s so neat because it will be my first year too and I like the way that everything is in its own pot…. Thanks for posting!
What’s the music?
Thanks. In addition to suppling the whole family in growing season, we’ve got a lot for friends and neighbours too.
