Rosemary,
Lemon verbena
lime thyme
lemon thyme
lavender
fever few
pineapple sage
rose geranium
(other scented geraniums)
You might want to have a section at least of herbs; rosemary, lavender, and sage are all used in perfumes. Lemon balm smells lemony. I love irises (to me they smell like grape koolaid), though I don’t know how well they would do for perfume. Lilac, roses, and mock orange are shrubs that can be used for perfumes.
i planted oregano.. all over my property. It was great for stopping soil from washing out in rain storms on the still hills. It also would smell awesome.
Mint smells great and will grow like a weed if you let it. Honeysuckle is also great smelling (and probably better for perfume).
Roses, lilies, lilacs, sage, gardenias, jasmine, sweet pea, wisteria, freesias, magnolia, and hyacinth are also great, as well as some of the herbs found in a standard herb garden.
You could also try apple and other fruit blossoms – maybe get one of those plants they advertise on tv that is 8 different fruit trees in one!
I hope this helps!
Look into scented geraniums , they have many different kinds and scents,Gardenias are wonderful sweet smelling plants, not a herb but still smells good. Jasmine, Honey Suckle , which is indeed a herb, it is an eatable flower, is used for making tea to assist in treating viruses and also great in perfumes. Orange trees for orange blossoms. There are so many.
