I think spring is the best to plant a garden, because it rains alot & at the same time you get some sun, & since summer is next to spring there should beh some good weather. x]

Loosen up the soil with a shovel. If your dirt is not great, add some compost. The best location is where you have room and where your dog won’t get into it. If you have a sunny spot then you will want flowers that like sun – like marigolds and zinnias and petunias (lots more!). If you have a shady spot then you can plant impatiens and hostas and coleus and begonias. Water well and spread mulch around the plants to keep weeds out, moisture in and for a nice look.
