panda_b_13_06 asked:

No seeds are coming up out of the garden I planted a few days ago. The direction says germination 7-21 days. well, I don’t see anything coming up. the directions also said keep the soil moist. It is moist, because it’s been damp and rainy the past few days.
What do I do? Miracle Grow? Please help.

Give it some time!
if it says 7-21 days, wait at least 2 weeks before you start to panic.

Odds are you might have planted them too deep. If it has been the full 21 days….then just replant its still early in the season.

More time, more sun, they’ll grow.

A few days is not 7 to 21 days, take a chill pill and be patient, patience is a virtue!

how long ago was a few days if it was 3 to 7 days then hold your horses. the directions said 7-21 days then wait till 21 days. planting flowers and vegitables are like fishing and watching water boil. it doesnt happen over night and sure seems like to take longer if you watch and worry about it

just wait a few days ,don’t moist too mush coz u might kill the seeds , usually the grass starts coming up when the weather changes “depending on the kind of the seed Ur using”
just be patine and don’t panic

I have planted quite a few gardens in my life. Waiting for seeds to germinate and pop out of the ground is like watching a pot boil. … it seems to take for ever.

My advise is let nature do its thing. Right now it is figuratively 3AM in your garden and the Sun doesn’t rise for a few more hours. Give it mor time and the plants will grow.

I agree with others that you should give the seeds a little longer before panic sets in. However are you sure you have followed the directions exactly. If you have planted the seeds upside down this could explain why they have not come up yet. If the seeds do not come up after a few more days the only cure will be to dig down carefully twice the depth at which you originally planted the seeds and carefully turn the soil. This technic was perfected by Hillbilly families in the last century.
