When is the best time to plant a vegetable garden in Spokane?
We have some starts going and are ready to go. When is a good time to plant? How relevant is the old adage of “plant after the snow is gone off Mica Peak”?
For he who asked what we’re planting, we have: sugar snap peas, green beans, asparagus, carrots, radishes, some wheat, strawberries, potatoes, dow guak, spaghetti squash, table onions, brussel sprouts, cucumber, garlic, dill, thyme, rosemary, chives, catnip, basil, sage, Walla Walla sweets, broccoli, cauliflower, zuchinni and tomatoes. Needless to say,we have a big garden.
