I like both Alison And Led Zep. Just gotta wonder what Alison could do with Stairway To Heaven. Bet if she does it right she might blow it outa the water with that voice. Just a thought.
I don’t know, I never get into it… I have Led Zeppelin III and IV but, after listened to them a few times, didn’t give me any sensation… it’s not bad music, if someone force me to listen to them (example: in a party, in the car going somewhere…) I don’t mind. But if I can choose what to listen to, Led Zep aren’t the first choice that I would pick
how can u not like led zeppelin
how can some people think they know how someone else interprets and understands music? theyre not them……some people just boggle my mind how they believe they are superior
you realize regicuaza plays pokemon, right?
HAHAHAHHAHAA!
Thats right
Good song…bad video
When I close my eyes and listen to their voices, it transforms me into another time and place…..
Holy god… the man is 61, but his voice, though a little lower, still sounds amazing, and the writing is as strong as ever, if not more so.
This is how artists should age.
YEAH, HETFIELD, I’M LOOKING AT YOU!
I agree with regicuaza. The grammys are completely bogus.
It’s what the people like not ‘likes’–proper grammar is a good thing–and when the people choose well, that’s called the People’s choice Awards, honey. Maybe you should have watched those. LOL
The Grammy awards are decided by panels and awarded to people who show superior skill in music. Just a little mature for you, I think.
it’s actually disappointing and very sad that people behind the grammys are old and they have to pick or chose what record would win it, i mean they don’t vote for what the people likes or what the people expected would came out., it’s really a bias that in our present time those type of people are voting for it is really saddening…. grammy’s ****!!!! They never pick a song that is REALLY WORTHY to the peoples choice!!!! i wouldnt mention the examples cause it’s so obvious….. in 2006..
I never liked Led Zep, except for some tracks here and there. But Plant is definitely a great artist, I really enjoyed this work he did with Alison Krauss. The whole album has nothing extraordinary, nothing “revolutionary” that can change the world of music, but… it sounds so great. Who needs more?
The capacity to vary and not staying always in the same style is part of the essence of being an artist… good work, Robert.
Is it really necessary to be educated to feel music and enjoy it? I don´t mind which genre they came from (actually, I think there´s no genre you could put Alison in), I only care about that the music speaks to me. Which it does. That´s the main criteria for brilliant music to me: It speaks to people. There´s no need to feel smug about being more educated than others. Just listen and enjoy!
The “classic” Led Zepplin” harmonic disonance oh….ya….is comin through…you can tell it’s Plant just from this alone…it’s absolutely fantastically awesome…nothing can touch this ****….it’s the most heavy metal without being metal I’ve ever heard…
awsome!
i think you and proger are *** for each other!!
Hello There, re your comment (Well done) about Alison Krauss and Robert Plant. I totally agree with you; two brilliant artists in their own right that came together from different genre and together they made brilliant music. Hurrah to them both – fantastic! There are not many educated people on this site. I feel if they cannot answer a question or even comment contructively, they should not bother to comment at all!!
Yeah but il respect him more if he NAILED her!!
It’s disappointing that we have to share sites like this with uneducated little twits isn’t it.
They don’t even understand that most legit musicians often appreciate the efforts of others regardless of genre. I recall Rick Wakeman once quoting his dad as explaining a writer is only as good as the words he knows, and likewise a musician can only become better by exposing himself to different kinds of music. Personally, I think Plant and Alison nailed it.
New York *****!
This is a great song. The only station in New York that I have heard it on is WFUV.
I am glad that Mr. Plant is still making music.
such nice music to listen to while watching the sun set over dartmoor.
Ahh, i love summer.
I love zeppelin and plant and I love this album.
xx
Does anyone know if she plays his pink oboe?
Guys Chill out! I saw Led Zep thirty years ago and loved it, , but this stuff is still good. All power to R P and AK. , Keele University (Planters Nuts). (1978?) Does anyoneknow who else was in that band?
