  • Your local nursery or local bonsai shop would be a good place to start.

I’d suggest a bonsai shop (seach on net for the addy), they can give you whole heaps of professional advice as different bonsai requires diff maintenance.
    About PRICE!!!!!!!!!!
They can range from $10 – $ 20,000 easy, so it will depend on how much you want to spend.

    Good luck :)

  • I found some bonsai trees for about $20-$60 each at Home Depot. But as this video shows you, bonsai are just regular trees that are pruned to keep them small. Many small junipers, elms, and ficus trees are suitable to become bonsai. As far as maintenance, watch the other videos from this guy and you should know what you need to get started.

  • You can buy specialized bonsai soil but you can also make do with a mixture of potting soil and perlite which you can get at most gardening centers.

  • Yeah, I heard that Home Depot has some. I guess that would be the best option for a beginner like me. Thanks!

  • one that size would cost you about 70 dollars. You could find them in chinatown , well thats where ive seen them.
