Reply to alstrasse (1 month ago): Looks like your reply was meant for helloimbill. I also prefer the EB version, but agree with your comment that covers by today’s well-known artists help to bring the EB’s and other great music to the forefront, where it belongs. I like both Plant and Krauss, though, and they did graciously recognize the EB’s when they accepted the Grammy for this song.
wow, this video fucking blows.
LED ZEPPELIN TO THIS?!
He’s right up there with Lucas when it comes to raping my childhood
I bought the CD. And gave it awya to make sure a friend listened to it. Then bought it again! Its one of the best albums of the last few years. …and yeah, i reckon they jumped eachothers bones! haha.
alison is so hot
Only jewbags buy CDs. This age torrents.
One of the Best CD’s I’ve ever bought. And (I’ll add) I didn’t even know about it, till I saw it here.
high fives you*
Tell me – who went out and bought the CD?
Alison Krauss WHAT A WOMAN!!!!!!
Yes, I understand you think it’s great – but did you buy the album?
Personally, I think Raising Sand is a great album.
If Plant was still singing with Zep, you’d all be calling him a tired old rock star.
Quit crying, you bunch of babies.
wow not bad…..Love Zeppelin definetly my favorite band but i think it’s really cool that he did a different style of music…. mean dont get me wrong, a Led Zeppelin reunion tour would be a dream come true for me, but i really liked this song.
They jumped each others bones. you know they did
This song is so good, I want to if it is a hit. Gosh, it makes you wanna dance!
I can see this song getting used in some future hip Hollywood movie, if it hasn’t already.
It’s totally cool, and it rhymes for the most part.
Does anyone know what this drum beat is called. Doo Doo Ba…Doo Doo Ba….so on…
interesting take – i still love this interpretation of a beautiful standard – really love T Bone’s work on this man. its just cool
Your reply proves at least you give a damn. Glad you love the EBs. They were melodic. This is not. The “groove” is repetitive and boring. And Plant’s “been a long time since I rock and rolled—wowowowowo” howling reminder from Zepland is really awful. Names often sell, and I’m glad this album helped Rounder make money to support true Americana struggling to break through the noise of NashVegasLA twangy tom tom mixes like this one. Give me Buddy and Emmy Lou. And, I still love Alison. Not this.
In that case, do a youtube search for Plant & Page, “Most High”!
never thought id see robert plant in a music video
Outstanding!! Tres bien!!
You figure Plant should continue to just play the old songs over and over, and never try anything diferent? Kind of like your hairstyle? No, he has integrity and the sould of an artist.
no he killed it.
Que grande eres roberto! te pareces al mismísimo elvis!
what i dont understand is, yeah it’s sad to see robert move on, he’s been with Led Zeppelin for a long long time, made some great amazing albums, hell, i’ll be damned if they ever made a song i didnt like, but maybe you should support what Plant wants to do instead of critisize him. He’s older now, and so well respected, and you decide to take your respect for him away becuase he’s not with Led anymore? Shamefull, J102753, i like your point.
All that coloured dolls…¿¿¿??? what were they thinking of???
I can’t believe that Robert Plant would rather make this music than go on tour with Led Zeppelin.
Plant is gone gone gone, really gone senile.
